Outsider sleep out

Working as he does in the middle of the Sydney CBD, Outsider all too frequently sees people sleeping rough on the streets.

Thus, he admires all those chief executives who will this year participated in the St Vincent De Paul “Vinnies” CEO Sleepout, among them Zurich’s Tim Bailey.

As it happens, Sydney experienced a particularly cold spell through the latter weeks of July, so notwithstanding high-quality sleeping bags, the CEOs must have encountered something pretty close to the real thing in terms of weather and discomfort.\

Outsider urges those who can to dig deep to support the CEOs who participated in the sleepout. We work in an industry focused on wealth generation and there are times when we owe it to the community to share our good fortune.
