Man AHL targets adviser education on alternatives
Alternative manager, Man AHL, has launched another video series — this time aimed explaining future trends to financial advisers and clients.
The company said the five newly launched videos built on the topics covered in the initial AHL Explains video series launched last year and covered Breakout Trading, Limit Order Books & Trade Execution, Machine Learning, Optimisation and Maximum Diversification.
Commenting on the second video series, Man AHL chief executive, Sandy Rattray said it was hoped the new series would further demystify quantitative investing and provide an insight into what the firm did.
Man Group managing director, Asia Pacific, Hersh Gandhi, said advisers were increasingly turning towards alternatives for diversification and as a way to potentially improve returns and therefore had a duty to understand and explain how the investments work to their clients.
