Perth-based dealer group Plan B has appointed a new business development manager (BDM) as part of the company's strategy to grow its high net worth (HNW) client base.

Plan B's Executive Advisory Service provides strategic financial advice to company executives and senior management staff across Western Australia - a division now supported by new BDM Kieren James.

James made a move from Shadforth Financial Group, where he specialised in providing financial advice to HNW clients.

He will now be tasked with building on Plan B's existing partnerships and expanding the group's executive client base.

"Kieren's expertise in financial planning and his commitment to achieving real outcomes is essential to his new role as BDM and we welcome him to the Plan B Executive Advisory Services team," said Plan B's group executive of product and distribution Paul Cramer.

Before joining Shadforth and Outlook Financial Solutions, James worked as a technical adviser for Plan B Financial Services over a decade ago.
