Kent Griffin joins TAL


TAL Limited has announced the appointment of Kent Griffin as chief financial officer.
Griffin was a former partner and the head of actuarial and financial services risk management advisory at Ernst & Young.
Before that he spent nine years at AXA, where he served as the regional CFO for AXA Asia.
As well as his new role at TAL, Griffin is convener of the risk management practice committee at the Institute of Actuaries.
TAL managing director Jim Minto said Griffin has considerable experience in leading finance functions and driving change in life insurance companies.
