JP Morgan expands Australian distribution team

JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has announced that James Matt and Jacqui Crothers have been appointed as consultant adviser and Northern Region key account manager, respectively.
The move aimed to expand the firm’s distribution team and strengthen its market presence.
Matt would report to the company’s chief executive of Australia Asset Management, Rachel Farrell and would be responsible for developing relationships with key strategic clients, including asset consultants and research houses.
He joined from Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he served as regional director. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst at JANA Investment Advisers.
Crothers joined from Colonial First State Global Asset Management, where she served as business development manager with a focus on serving financial advisers and dealer groups. She also worked for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, holding a number of sales and relationship management positions.
In her new role, she would report to Australia Asset Management’s head of funds, David Hallifax, and would be responsible for building relationships with independent financial advisers and major financial institutions to help enhance JPMAM’s funds business.
