The power for clients using Owners Advisory comes through the Statement of Advice that provides personalised investment advice under the Macquarie Equities Limited licence.
Clients complete a risk profile, scope their investing preferences and/or sector and stock exclusions, and manually indicate their existing portfolio. Based on the relevant reference portfolio, the platform calculates a health score from a suite of more than 70 reference portfolios developed by the portfolio management team.
A Statement of Advice can then be purchased, which is personalised and includes specific buy/sell recommendations with accompanying stock/fund/ETF analysis tailored to move the client towards the relevant reference portfolio, which aligns with the asset management component of their overall wealth strategy. Statements are purchased on an as-needed basis.
The decision to act upon this advice remains solely with the client, who can execute our recommendations through their personal broking accounts or preferred platform. This empowers investors through deeper engagement with their investing.
Owners Advisory provides two types of advice:

General advice: A month-by-month subscription; clients receive regular market and investment content written by the team. Topics range across asset classes, security types, and market conditions, covering a range of fundamental to advanced concepts.

Custom advice: A Statement of Advice purchased on demand. Clients receive personal scoped investment advice on their portfolio and recommended remedial actions. This is not ‘upstream’ advice on how to structure affairs, for example, how to set-up an SMSF, and it is not insurance or superannuation/retirement planning advice.
