Vale George Vassos
The founder and managing director of Omega Global Investors, George Vassos, has died.
Omega at the weekend issued a statement noting Vassos' passing at the age of 47 from unforeseen medical complications.
Omega co-founder, Andrew Gruskin described Vassos as being one of the best the funds management industry had produced.
Vassos was well-known and highly respect in the industry, having spent nine years at Vanguard where he spearheaded the company's distribution team.
