XPLAN and Class Super pair up
Wealth management platform, XPLAN, and cloud self-managed super fund (SMSF) software, Class Super, have been integrated in an attempt to bridge the gap between planners and accountants.
Software provider IRESS said the pairing of the two programs will allow Class Super users run SMSF reports and see member investment details from XPLAN.
It said the move should help accountants and planners to share information and meet their reporting requirements.
"We are increasingly seeing accountants and wealth managers operating together to provide consolidated services to the SMSF sector," IRESS executive product manager for wealth, Aaron Knowles, said.
"With the stringent ATO auditing and reporting requirements on SMSF clients, it is essential for portfolio managers to be confident they hold a real-time, unified view of the SMSF. This integration with Class Super combines this reassurance with XPLAN's full portfolio management capability."
The Class integration is available from XPLAN version 2.13 and onwards.
