SuperRatings to offer planners fund data via deal


Sydney based financial planning software system, AdviserLogic has paired up with superannuation research provider, SuperRatings.
The pairing is aiming to increase productivity for financial planners, AdviserLogic head of product development Daniel Gara said,
"We believe the SuperRatings research tool will dramatically reduce the amount of time advisers and support staff spend on entering and extracting client and industry data making the process faster, more thorough and more efficient."
AdviserLogic will use SuperRatings' relationships with industry, retail and corporate super funds to provide its prospective clients access to an extensive range of data.
Access to this data will be provided to users via a link from AdviserLogic to the SuperRatings website, with plans to develop AdviserLogic to integrate necessary data within the software so advisers are able to meet compliance obligations when comparing existing client super to potential super solutions.
"The established connections SuperRatings have are really important to us. It means they are able to obtain the data needed by advisers and interpret it in a way that can be compared and implemented easily," Gara said.
SuperRatings chief executive Adam Gee, said, "We are pleased to work with AdviserLogic by providing in-depth superannuation fund research, which will assist advisers offer quality advice covering both the retail and not for profit sectors."
