Super consumer advocacy group launch backed by Choice
Super Consumers Australia is launching to create a ‘people’s advocate’ in the superannuation sector and have partnered with consumer advocacy group Choice.
The aim of the organisation was to improve how the superannuation system works for people with low and middle incomes, and to help advance and protect their interests.
It would function by offering campaigning and policy, investigative journalism, and research and analysis of the industry.
Originally called the Superannuation Consumers’ Centre, it was founded in 2013 and received further funding for the first time in 2018.
