Another new administration platform has been launched into the self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF) market — CleverSuper — with the founders inviting 250 advisers to become "founding partners".

CleverSuper has been founded by Custom Wealth Solutions principal Chris Appleyard, who said it aimed at delivering more value to existing SMSF trustees by reducing running costs and providing access to no-cost investment advice.

Commenting on the launch of the new platform, Appleyard said it had been designed "by the industry, for the industry".

"Our goal is to provide accessibility and choice for both trustees and their financial advisers," he said.

"CleverSuper provides virtually unlimited investment choice in any category. Investors can link their SMSF account to any other financial provider and will have direct connections to banks and trading platforms, via our dedicated marketplace."

Appleyard said the platform would deliver individual fund set-up, full SMSF administration, free transfer and annual audit within a monthly fee capped at $79.

He said founding referral partners would receive new business leads generated by CleverSuper within their primary and secondary postcode.
