Another new web-based audit product has been launched into the self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) market - this time, Sage HandiSoft's partnership with Auditflow to produce the so-called Auditflow® SMSF.

The company describes the new product as a cloud-based audit application which provides SMSF auditors with a systemised and methodical approach to their audit engagement, and allows auditors to communicate within the application with the fund administrators and accountants.

Launching the product, Auditflow chief executive Richard Neal said it represented a cost-effective solution that assisted the auditor.

Sage HandiSoft national manager, sales and marketing, Gary Weisz said the product reflected the fact his company had sought an expert partner to provide its clients with a user-friendly and affordable auditing solution that facilitated compliance with the Australian Taxation Office's and professional groups' requirements for SMSF audits.
