Bourse expands into superannuation

Online financial services group Bourse Data has continued its aggressive program of expansion with the establishment of a superannuation business unit.

The announcement of the acquisition comes within weeks of the group’s announcement that it will house research group Assirt under a deal with St George Bank.

Former AXA and Norwich senior executive Alun Stevens will head the new unit.

The new enterprise means that Bourse is reneging on its May agreement to purchase superannu-ation consultant CSA Consulting which has been sold to Challenger International. Under the new deal, Challenger and CSA will jointly develop an e-commerce supported superannuation master trust and portfolio service.
