BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNP Paribas) has appointed OneVue Fund Services as its unit registry provider for the next five years.

Major custodian BNP Paribas' unit registry clients are expected to be moved across in a number of tranches over an 18 month period.

The agreement aims to create further economies of scale by leveraging the automation and infrastructure within OneVue's offering.

"The additional scale in unit registry will also give investment managers and industry funds access to OneVue's leading direct to consumer and SMSF [self-managed super fund] solutions," OneVue chief executive, Connie Mckeage, said.

Mckeage said since its listing in June 2014 the superannuation and investment management solution provider has been expanding its capabilities in unit registry leading to the business growing in a controlled and planned manner for both new fund managers and custodian clients.
