BGL releases admin solution
Self-managed super fund (SMSF) administration software provider BGL has announced the release of its long-touted SMSF administration solution, Simple Fund 360.
Commenting on the release, Ron Lesh, managing director of BGL, said that Simple Fund 360 represented a generational change in SMSF software.
"When BGL released Simple Fund in 1997, it was the first of its kind - a Windows-based SMSF administration solution," he said.
"Today, BGL has released Simple Fund 360, again the first of its kind, a real cloud SMSF administration solution."
Lesh said that Simple Fund 360 was the first real cloud solution available to SMSF administrators, auditors, advisers and trustees and the only fully functional SMSF administration solution that could be accessed any time, from anywhere and on any device.
According to Lesh, it has also been built using data centre operator Amazon Web Services (AWS).
"AWS gives BGL and our clients a huge technology advantage" he said. "AWS allows Simple Fund 360 to be 100 per cent self servicing.
"BGL clients can invite auditors, advisers, trustees or anyone who needs access to an SMSF, providing each with an individual user experience in just seconds," Lesh continued.
"You can only do this when your application has ultimate scalability.
"The future is very exciting for both SMSF administrators and trustees."
