BGL accommodates Justsuper cloud move

Self-managed super fund (SMSF) administration software provider BGL Corporate Solutions has received a commitment from Justsuper to move the 1500 SMSFs currently administered on BGL's Simple Fund Desktop solution to Simple Fund 360 — BGL's cloud solution — in the coming months.
Simple Fund 360 has been in development since 2011 and will be released to clients Quarter 3, 2013 and according to Ron Lesh, managing director of BGL.
Lesh said Justsuper would participate in the Simple Fund 360 closed beta testing in Quarter 2, 2013.
"Simple Fund 360 is a brand new product and the next generation SMSF solution," he said.
"Unlike other SMSF cloud products, Simple Fund 360 is enterprise scalable and will run on any device — Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, Android, etc."
Stephen Doulgeridis, founder and CEO at Justsuper, said he had been a supporter of BGL for over 17 years.
"We are excited to be one of the first large SMSF administrators to commit to Simple Fund 360," he said.
"From what we have seen, Simple Fund 360 is a sensational product — a generation ahead of any other SMSF software currently available in the marketplace.
"We think it will give us a distinct competitive advantage in the SMSF administration space."
According to Lesh, Simple Fund 360 has been developed from the ground up with a host of new tools and connected services. Bank, contract note, registry and property data will all flow seamlessly into Simple Fund 360 each day.
He said Simple Fund 360 retains much of the advanced functionality available in Simple Fund Desktop, but brings this to the web in a way that will provide exceptional ease of use, efficiency and functionality.
