Zurich makes key appointment

Zurich Financial Services has moved to increase its reach into the financial adviser space with the creation of a new National Key Accounts Manager position within its Investments and Life Risk business to be filled by former Asgard Wealth Solutions and BT manager, Nick Langton.

Creation of the new role was announced today by Zurich’s general manager, Investment Management and Life, Catherine Hallinan who said financial advisers were seeking to provide holistic financial advice and address the full range of their clients needs for wealth protection and wealth creation.

She said dealer groups were also moving to more limited approved lists for providers of life insurance and this had prompted creation of the of the Key Accounts role.

Langton was formerly Asgard’s regional manager for NSW and a National Account Manager for BT Wrap Services.
