Zurich Financial Services Australia has appointed Stuart Meyers to the role of NSW regional sales manager, life risk.

Meyers was previously the senior business development manager for NSW and has been responsible for managing financial adviser relationships and business development strategies since joining Zurich in 2009.

He has over 21 years experience in the financial services industry, having previously served as a business development manager at both ING Australia and Royal Sun Alliance.

Meyer's appointment follows a number of executive changes in the past few months, including the appointment of Zurich's former chief operating officer Daniel Fogerty to executive general manager of the firm's newly created corporate business.
