WHK appoints Grellman as chairman
WHK Group has appointed Richard Grellman (pictured) as chairman and independent non-executive director, replacing the outgoing stand-in chairman Peter Warne.
Grellman has over 32 years of experience in the accounting industry and is a non-executive director at AMP Limited, as well as chairman of AMP Life.
He spent much of his career working in the corporate recovery division of KPMG, during which time he acted as an independent financial expert for the demutualisation of AMP and Tower Life New Zealand.
Warne will continue as a non-executive director of the company after stepping down from the role of chairman, which he has held since the start of 2009.
Warne was deputy chairman at the time and took over the role from Terry Power when he decided he would retire after eight years.
The company board is now comprised of four non-executive directors, three of whom are independent, as well as the managing director, Kevin White.
