UBS's Bolinowsky steps aside to institutional sales
The head of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia and New Zealand, Paul Bolinowsky, has stepped aside from the day-to-day running of the business and will now be focusing on his role as head of institutional sales.
As a result, Ben Heap will be returning to Australia from New York to fill the role as head of UBS Global Asset Management in Australia and New Zealand after leading the company’s infrastructure team in the Americas.
Commenting on the changes, UBS Global Asset Management chairman and chief executive John Fraser said they reflected the company’s commitment to developing the business in Australia and New Zealand.
“We are now poised for a new growth surge in the Australian market, building upon not only our solid investment performance in Australia capabilities but also internationally,” he said.
Heap, who was formerly chief executive of Australian Wealth Management’s asset management division, joined UBS in 2007.
