Tony Abbott recruits ISN economist

An economist employed by the Industry Super Network (ISN) has been recruited into the office of the Federal Opposition leader, Tony Abbott.

Abbott has announced that the economist, Dr Matthew Sheen, had been appointed as his industry adviser but currently holds a position of economist with the ISN and had previously been a an adviser with the NSW Business Chamber.

At the same time as announcing Steen’s appointment, Abbott announced the appointment of senior Reserve Bank of Australia staffer Dr Andrew Stone as his chief economist.
