Suncorp Life names new head of life risk adviser solutions
Suncorp Life today announced the appointment of Richard Bellis to the role of executive manager of life risk adviser solutions, effective from 8 June.
Bellis has held senior roles in the insurance and financial services industry for 21 years and, most recently, was general manager of distribution with Aviva.
In announcing this executive appointment, Suncorp's executive general manager of life risk, John Crosswell, said Suncorp Life continued to strengthen the depth of leadership skills in its life risk business.
"Richard will play a key role in delivering results to our independent financial adviser channel, building on our established capability, and supporting Asteron general manager Jordan Hawke's leadership in the [independent financial advice] market," Crosswell said.
Bellis will be based in Sydney and will report to Croswell.
