The long-serving head of Suncorp Wealth Management, Dennis Fox, will retire at the end of July.

Suncorp announced late yesterday that Fox, whose career spanned over 35 years in financial services, would be succeeded by Geoffrey Summerhayes, who was most recently Australian general manager, specialised businesses, for National Australia Bank and MLC.

Summerhayes will begin within Suncorp on May 26, allowing for a transition with Fox, who will depart the company on July 31.
