Suncorp banking and wealth appoints new CEO
Suncorp has announced the appointment of Lee Hatton as the new chief executive of its banking and wealth division while Jeremy Robson has been appointed as group chief financial chief, the firm said in an announcement.
Hatton, who previously served as chief executive of UBank and prior to that held a number of senior roles at BNZ, National Australia Bank and Great Western Bank in the US, would commence her role in the first half of next year.
“Lee is the ideal leader for Suncorp Bank as we continue to transform the experience our customers have with us,” Suncorp Group CEO Steve Johnston said.
“Her track record of building customer-focused, digital banking offerings and ability to positively influence organisational culture means she is the ideal candidate to lead Suncorp Bank in the rapidly evolving and highly competitive environment we are in.”
In October, Suncorp banking and wealth chief executive, David Carter announced he would be leaving the company early next year to take up the role of chief executive of Queensland motoring organisation, RACQ.
