Stephenson heads to Deloitte from AXA
AXA’s Tasmanian dealership services manager Kate Stephenson has left the group to join Deloitte Financial Services.
AXA’s Tasmanian dealership services manager Kate Stephenson has left the group to join Deloitte Financial Services.
Stephenson who is also the Financial Planning Association chair for the state says she will join the group in early September as a senior financial adviser and be involved in the setting up of a financial planning arm.
According to Stephenson Deloitte has had a dealership for a number of years but has been inactive in financial planning until about 18 months ago.
The new drive to increase its financial planning presence is being spearheaded by national product leader Stephen Prenderville in a bid to bring Tasmania in line with the other states which all have offices in capital cities.
In total the group has about 30 advisers nationally as well as support staff and Stephenson says the move in Tasmania is significant as the group has no effective presence there.
