Standard Life grows EM debt team

Investment manager, Standard Life Investments has added to its emerging markets debt team.

The company announced this week it had appointed Imran Ahmad as an investment director — emerging market debt on the five-member team.

It said Ahmad brought 12 years' experience to the role, and was joining the company from JP Morgan Asset Management where he had been a currency portfolio manager.

Ahmad will report to the head of emerging markets fixed income, Richard House, and will be based in London.
