Standard Life adds to real estate team

Global investment manager, Standard Life Investments has further grown its global real estate research and strategy team. 

The company announced this week it had appointed experienced Mark Clacy-Jones as fund strategist.  

It said Clacy-Jones brought more than 10 years' industry experience to the role, having joined the company in January from Knight Frank where he held the role of head of data and analytics, commercial research since April 2016. 

The announcement said that prior to his role at Knight Frank, Clacy-Jones was vice president, head of applied research at MSCI Real Estate and head of indices at IPD. 

He will be based in Edinburgh and report to David Hedalen.
