Solaris appoints investment specialist

In expanding its in-house distribution capabilities to institutional clients, Australian equity fund manager Solaris Investment Management has appointed Neale Goldston-Morris as investment specialist.

The former director, head of equity strategy of Macquarie Securities has around 30 years financial services experience, having previously worked at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.

Having taken over management of its distribution service from 1 July 2012, Solaris stated that it has since been building on its internal teams and in-house functions.

Neale will work closely with the investment team, providing portfolio analysis to clients, consultants and prospects on a regular basis.
