Sherry elevated to ING Group Supervisory Board


Former Bank of Melbourne chief executive and Carnival Australia chairwoman, Ann Sherry has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Global bank ING Group.
Sherry has been elevated to the Supervisory Board after having been a director of ING DIRECT since 2011.
The company said Sherry had been proposed for inclusion on the board on the basis of her background in the financial sector and her knowledge and experience in both managing and supervising large international companies.
The announcement said the appointment was subject to approval by the European Central Bank.
