Shaw and Partners recruits derivatives expert
Shaw and Partners has continued to build its advisory ranks, announcing this week that it had appointed former Morgan Stanley staffer, Hatem Matar, as a private client adviser.
It said that during his time at Morgan Stanley, Matar had specialised in derivatives trading, having been appointed as the senior derivatives adviser in 2007.
Shaw and Partners' head of wealth management, Earl Evans, said Shaw and Partners continued to appoint senior wealth managers who brought a broad spectrum of experience to the firm.
"Providing a holistic and comprehensive client experience is Shaw and Partners' primary aim. Having people like Hatem join us our team, allows us to offer broader skills and expertise to our clients," Evans said.
"Hatem's experience in derivatives trading will prove invaluable to our other advisers and their clients who are looking to invest in that space."
