Former stock broking firm, Shaw and Partners is continuing its growth into the wealth management sector with the announcement this week of two senior appointments as part of the expansion and development of its institutional business.

The company announced it had appointed former Goldman Sachs staffer, Peter Zuk as its new real estate investment trust (REIT) analyst and former CIMB Securities staffer, Renae Ridley, as its new head of corporate access.

Shaw and Partners' head of equities, Mike Ryan, said the appointments would expand the company's institutional business, develop its facilitation services as well as further develop research capabilities and corporate finance offerings.
