Senior lawyer joins Commbank board

The Commonwealth Bank has appointed high-profile intellectual property lawyer, Mary Padbury, to its board.

Padbury's appointment has been confirmed by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) by Commonwealth Bank chairman, David Turner.

Padbury is a partner and the Vice Chairman of Ashurst Australia and is a member of both the Professional Standardes Board for Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys and the Melbourne University Law School Foundation.
