Saxo Capital expands its team
Multi-asset trading and investment specialist, Saxo Capital Markets, has announced the appointment of Eleanor Creagh to the newly-created role of Australia markets strategist.
She would be responsible for supporting the firm’s expert global sales trading team with financial market insights as well as monitoring and implementing equity strategies and research for traders and investors, along with developing quantitative models and customised mathematical frameworks for institutional clients.
Creagh, who would be based in Sydney, would report to Saxo Bank Group’s chief economist and chief investment strategist, Steen Jakobsen, and Saxo’s Australia chief executive, Ben Smoker.
Prior to this, Creagh held senior positions at JB Markets, a securities and derivatives broker and dealer for wholesale and retail investors, and KnowledgebankIQ, a wealth management advisory firm.
“We are pleased to have Eleanor on board. She is an expert in her field, who will no doubt add significant value to Saxo’s Global sales trading team, helping local traders and investors find signals amid market noise,” Smoker said.
