RSM Bird Cameron opens Brisbane audit presence
National mid-tier accountancy firm, RSM Bird Cameron has this week announced the creation of a new audit division in its Brisbane office.
Announcing the move, RSM Bird Cameron national chairman, Kim Hutchinson said the division was part of the firm's overall strategy of building its national audit and assurance practice.
He said the firm also had inbound international and interstate audit work, which would be serviced more efficiently through the Brisbane audit offering.
Andrew Graham, national head of business solutions, RSM Bird Cameron who has been heading up the Brisbane operation since its merger with MHM Accountants in July 2013 said, "The new audit division is part of a staged approach to building the firm's Brisbane and Queensland presence.
As part of the establishment of the new division, RSM Bird Cameron has recruited former BDO and PKF audit partner, Albert Loots, as an audit partner.
