Perpetual has appointed a new chief executive to replace Geoff Lloyd – former Challenger Funds Management chief executive and Janus Henderson PLC head of Pan-Asia, Rob Adams.

The company announced the appointment to the Australian Securities Exchange today, noting that Adams had joined Henderson in 2012 to establish and build the Australian business.

Announcing the appointment, Perpetual chairman, Tony D’Aloisio described Adams as an exceptional leader with three decades of local and global experience in financial services.
