Former Westpac group executive Richard Thomas has joined the Centric Wealth board as a non-executive director.

Thomas is currently chairman of Cash Services Australia and a non-executive director of Credit Corp Group Limited, and an adviser to a number of financial services companies, according to Centric.

He is a professional company director with more than 45 years experience in banking, finance, insurance and wealth management, having retired from Westpac Banking Corporation in 2000 as group executive, Australian Banking Services, Centric stated.

He has also been a director of Genesys Wealth Advisors and The Credit Reference Association of Australia Limited.

"Richard's depth of experience will be of exponential value for our group," said Centric chairman David Shein.
