ING Australia has announced the appointment of Greg Dunger as general manager of RetireInvest, following the resignation of George Haramis earlier this year.

Dunger was formerly managing director of Aon Wealth Management and Aon Financial Planning and Protection, and will report to ING’s executive director, ING advice, Colin Morgan.

He will also work closely with RetireInvest non-executive chair David Bleakly.

Commenting on the new appointment, Morgan said: “Over recent years we have re-energised and refocussed RetireInvest and I’m very confident Greg has the leadership qualities and experience in financial advice management to build on these strong foundations.”

RetireInvest currently has over 200 advisers, and 100 offices nationally, with funds under advice of over $10bn.
