Active, alternative asset manager, RAM Active Investments, has expanded its systematic research team with the appointment of Tony Guida and Nicolas Mirjolet.

Guida would join the firm as a senior quantitative researcher for systematic equities with expertise across portfolio managers, constructing systematic equity funds, machine-learning and research.

Prior to joining RAM AI, Guida was a senior quantitative portfolio manager at a UK pension fund, and held roles at EDHEC Risk Scientific Beta.

Mirjolet would also join as a senior quantitative researcher, with expertise in developing and managing systematic scalable global long/short investment strategies.

He co-founded Tolomeo Capital and acted as its chief investment officer, and had held previous roles at ETH Zurich.
