Prosperity Advisers appoints director

Prosperity Advisers has strengthened its Sydney operations with the appointment of Stephen Guthrie as director, business services and taxation, for its Sydney office. The appointment was made in response to client demand, the group said.

Guthrie is a former partner at global accountancy firm UHY Haines Norton. He will be responsible for developing strategic business advice and tax, as well as servicing high-net-worth family groups and small businesses. He has over 20 years experience in business advice and tax.

“With Stephen’s passion for working with clients on complex and challenging business issues, we will continue to provide a more experienced offering for our clients. His proven technical and analytical skills will deliver sound financial outcomes for our clients,” Prosperity chief executive Allan McKeown said.
