Software firms FinaMetrica and PlanPlus have formally rebranded to PlanPlus Global following their merger in August last year and revealed details of a new product suite.

The new product, SuitabilityPro, is a platform that delivers a “scientifically validated” Suitability Score, which gives financial advisers confidence that their clients’ risk profiles map to their chosen portfolios.

It would combine the FinaMetrica Profiler tool, which is a psychometric risk profiling solution, the Pro Planner tool, a financial planning software, and the Pro Tracker tool, which enables continuous portfolio monitoring.

Shawn Brayman, CEO of PanPlus Global, said the tool enables their clients to prove they have applied their knowledge, experience and professional judgment in selecting investments that are in the best interest of their clients.

“It is our overall belief that the issue of “suitability” will become increasingly important and of widespread interest among countries where financial planning and investment advisory industries are established,” added Paul Resnik, executive director, PanPlus Global.

“Consequently, we are initiating a paradigm shift in the way the financial services market views and evidences suitable advice,” he said.
