Professional Investment Services (PIS) has reinforced its risk team with the appointment of Peter Nielsen, who will have the geographic responsibility for the dealer group’s life insurance operations in Queensland and New South Wales.

As new regional risk manager, Nielsen will be tasked with supporting the growth of key risk practices, as well as recruiting suitable risk practices to take advantage of referral opportunities through PIS’s network of advisers and accountants.

PIS noted that Nielsen, who will report to head of risk Mark Stubbings, had extensive experience in the life insurance and independent financial advice markets.
