Perpetual recruits BT’s Mehmet


Former BT Funds Group investment executive, Ron Mehmet has joined Perpetual Investments as an investment specialist.
The company announced the hire today, noting that Mehmet has more than 30 years' experience in financial services, including six years at BT, where he was responsible for managing the Investment Solutions multi-manager investment process.
Perpetual said Mehmet would work closely with Perpetual Investments' Credit and Fixed Income team, providing technical expertise on the broad range of investment capabilities the business offered and provide input to the development of product strategy for Perpetual Investments.
Confirming the appointment, Perpetual Head of Investment Specialists, Adam Curtis, said Mehmet's expertise and experience would be invaluable to the business.
"Ron brings a wealth of experience which will strengthen our offering to the market and ensure we are well positioned to achieve future growth," he said.
