Perpetual Investments appoints new equity analyst
Former Ellerston Capital portfolio manager Anthony Aboud has been appointed as an analyst at Perpetual Investments' equities team.
Aboud will be working with portfolio manager Paul Skamvougeras on the Perpetual Share Plus Long Short Fund, as well as the development of new absolute return equity products. Aboud and Skamvougeras have previously worked together managing a long/short equity portfolio at Ellerston Capital.
Aboud was also lead analyst at UBS Investment Bank from 1998 to 2006, covering large and small cap companies across a range of sectors. He has broad investment experience, with particular short fund expertise.
The ability to manage and build a strong investment team with high quality professionals is a key priority for the investment company, Perpetual Investments' group executive equities Cathy Doyle said.
