Pengana makes key appointments

Pengana Capital Group has appointed Broc McCauley and Dan McAleer to its Melbourne-based distribution team.
McCauley and McAleer have been appointed to business development manager and regional business development manager, respectively, and would service and support dealer groups, researchers, platforms and advisers in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
McCauley has joined Pengana from Equity and Super Private Asset Management where he was an investment adviser and managed key dealer group relationships.
McAleer’s most recent role was strategic relationship manager at Lonsec Research where he was responsible for client relationship management, distribution, development and marketing.
Prior to this, he was the business development manager at Lonsec, and held roles as product manager and relationship manager for Iress, and account manager and product manager for Mercer.
Director of distribution at Pengana, Damian Crowley, said the new relationship managers would bring a wealth of experience to the distribution team.
“With 50 per cent of the investment market across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania, our new team members will play a significant role in managing these relationships,” said Crowley.
