Pella appoints ex-AMP CIO
Former AMP head of portfolio management, Debbie Alliston, has joined the advisory board of Pella Funds Management.
Alliston was formerly chief investment officer multi asset group for AMP and head of portfolio management, spending 10 years at the firm. Prior to this, she was investment director at Apostle Asset Management and spent 15 years at BT.
She retired from AMP in July 2021 and was replaced by Anna Shelley.
Pella managing director and analyst, Steven Glass, said: “Debbie is a highly-qualified executive with a demonstrable track record of success and Pella looks forward to working with her”.
This was the second hire from AMP as Dr Ian Woods, former co-head of sustainable investment at AMP Capital, joined the advisory board in October alongside Professor Greg Kaplan, professor of economics at the University of Chicago.
Pella was set up earlier this year by Jordan Cvetanovski and Steven Glass after the pair departed from Pengana Funds Management where they ran two global equities funds and launched its first fund, Pella Global Generations, in October.
