Anthony Patterson, who joined Colonial First State in January as distribution manager, has moved to Perennial Investment Partners.

Patterson has signed up with the boutique fund manager as a partner and will be part of the core business development team with Perennial founder Mike Crivelli. Also joining the team is former BT Funds Management executive Vivienne Lee, who has also been made partner.

Prior to Patterson's two month stint at Colonial, he spent 20 years with MLC/Lend Lease Corporation; finishing up as chief executive of Lend Lease Corporate Services.

Prior to her five year stint at BT, Lee helped build the Westpac Global Custody from scratch.

Since forming as a joint venture between Crivelli and IOOF in 1999, Perennial has built up more than $2 billion under management and an investment team of more than 40 investment professionals.
