Orbis announces leadership changes

Contrarian global asset manager Orbis Australia has appointed Jenny Josling as its chair, while Jason Ciccolallo will move from head of distribution to fill the managing director vacancy left by Josling.
Josling would move with almost 15 years’ experience at the helm as managing director but would continue as a director of the board.
Josling congratulated Ciccolallo for his instrumental role in building and managing many of Orbis Australia’s key institutional partners since he joined in 2008.
“He is well respected in the industry, and we are very fortunate to have someone of his calibre taking Orbis Australia forward,” Josling said.
Ciccolallo said he looked forward to assuming the leadership of the Allan Gray sister firm and continuing to directly support its clients.
“The calibre of the global investment team is exceptional, and our diverse geographical presence creates an advantage for our Australian clients,” Ciccolallo said.
“It is a privilege to be in a position to continue to offer our capabilities to Australian investors.”
