OpenMarkets Crestone Wealth Management appointment

Online stockbroker, OpenMarkets has recruited former Crestone Wealth Management executive, Lee Redpath to fill the newly-created position of chief operating officer.

Redpath had previously been Head of Operations and Financial Intermediaries at Crestone and boasts a 20 year career in the financial services industry.

The OpenMarkets announcement said Redpath would be responsible for supporting the continued operational growth of the business, including product development, managing IT, settlements, back office and service delivery.

It said he would be responsible for managing and providing strategic leadership and would participate in the general management of the company with close support of the chief executive officer, Andrea Marani.

Confirming the appointment, Marani said Redpath’s had a proven track record in delivering significant growth at speed and scale for successful financial services businesses.
