Prior to joining Omega, Kwee was a fixed interest portfolio manager at Vanguard Investments and managed more than $10 billion in both global and domestic fixed interest portfolios for institutional and retail.

Andrew Gruskin, director of investments at Omega, said Kwee’s appointment would support growth at the boutique investment manager.

“We are very pleased to welcome Shan to Omega Global Investors and expect he will be a fantastic addition to the team,” he said.

“Shan has extensive experience in investment management and will be invaluable in providing our clients with in-depth knowledge and industry expertise,” Gruskin added.
