Nikko makes key insto appointment


Nikko Asset Management Australia has created a new role — head of institutional business.
The company announced this week that it had appointed former IFM Investor Relations executive director, Asia Pacific, Eddy Schipper to the role.
Schipper will report to Nikko AM Australia managing director, Sam Hallinan.
Commenting on the appointment, Hallinan said Schipper's experience in combined with his extensive experience in Australia would bring a new dimension to the firm's distribution capability.
The new appointment follows the recent hiring of Rob Bluzmanis and Naomi Finnigan to the distribution team.
Schipper will officially join his new team by the end of October.
